The biggest package will contain everything Viaplay already has rights to, plus the Premier League, which they will take over the rights to next season.
– In August, it breaks out with 380 matches a year from the Premier League on Viaplay, and we are really looking forward to the next six years as a licensee. We are well underway with the preparations and promise a sports package of the very highest quality, says Chief Commercial Officer of Nent, Kim Poder, in a press release.
Viaplay writes that the existing total package will be called Viaplay Medium, and will cost 349 kroner a month. It has everything except the Premier League.
Channels
In addition to a new package solution, Nent will launch five new linear channels that will broadcast the best of English football. The channels will be subject to the premium concept, which means that you have to buy it outside the usual TV packages from the distributors.

Can get Haaland lift
Norwegian star striker Erling Braut Haaland is currently deciding on his next stop.
Manchester City has been frequently mentioned as a possible new club for the 21-year-old. Grandma has previously stated that it would have been great for Viaplay’s investment if it were to become a reality.
– If Haaland chooses the Premier League, it will of course mean a solid vitamin injection for our launch. We very much hope that Erling Braut Haaland chooses the world’s best league as the next stop, Oma told NTB in April.
